Ein kleiner Gruß aus der Küche!

Die erste Vinyl-Veröffentlichung auf KONKORD bleibt den Labelgründern vorbehalten. Für alle Freunde ausgereifter Erwachsenen-Elektronik gibt es hier ein audiophiles Festmahl. Vier opulente Gänge mit besten Zutaten, sorgfältig gemischt und feinstens produziert werden auf einer 140 Gramm schweren Platte serviert.
Worauf kann man sich freuen? Zunächst einmal lässt Joachim Schnaitter aka de:con mit minimal repetitive terms anklingen, dass ihm die gepflegte Wiederholung clubtaug- licher Beats besonders am Herzen liegt. Dynamisch setzt sich ein rhythmischer Ohrwurm fest und lässt den Hörer schon mal daran verzweifeln, dass Plattenspieler im Regelfall keine Repeat-Taste haben. Die Rettung aus diesem Dilemma gewährt Roman Mesicek. Unter seinem Markennamen f733 setzt er gleich noch eines drauf: elefants never forget heisst das Motto und wir erinnern uns daran, dass seit der Einführung von House nichts mehr war wie früher. Dieser Dancefloorbeschleuniger schließt Seite A ab und wer einen Automatikplattenspieler besitzt, kann jetzt noch mal die Starttaste drücken.
Oder aber man beweist Mut und dreht die Scheibe um: Graceland Homegrown, bestehend aus Matthias Kastner und Wolfgang Reitter begrüßen das Zentralnervensystem mit einem hysterischen Folklore-Remix namens the cat munki. Balinesische Chormusik wird mit dem Kenwood-Küchenchef (oder war es doch ein Laptop?) filetiert, bis nur noch Sprachfetzen durch die Luft fliegen. Und am Ende lädt Herr Kastner noch auf die Reise ins Unhörbare: seinem Superheldenpseudonym Travelling Matt folgen wir ins halbleiterrauschen, um überrascht festzustellen wie kurz der Weg vom Noise in die Lounge sein kann. Abschließend stellt sich dem entspannten Easy Listener nur die Frage: Welchen Drink bestelle ich, bevor ich diese großartige Scheibe erneut umdrehe?
