First released in 2008 on Monkey Music.

As you can guess from the subtitle, this is a compilation that covers the bands early years, showing off some of the best tracks The Base have recorded in this period. It was the only record issued during the short term cooperation with Vienna based indie label Monkey Music. Also, a few tracks from the upcoming album "Things To Remember | Ways To Forget" were found here for the first time.

But our absolute favourite is one that you only get on this compilation. A cover version of Stadion Rock smasher "Eye Of The Tiger"! I mean, to turn that song into a piece of almost Will Oldham-esque gloomyness that leaves you hanging in the ropes gasping for breath? That is a very unique dimension of musical art.
